Nestled amongst some of the world’s most famous golf courses and whisky distilleries, it is set to become
one of the region’s most sought-after leisure focused luxury holiday resorts.

Location

The location couldn’t be better. It’s beautifully positioned being only 15 minutes from the west coast of Scotland, whilst it is only 30 minutes away from the city centre of Glasgow and its International Airport. Nestled amongst some of the world’s most famous golf courses and whisky distilleries, it is set to become one of the region’s most sought-after leisure focused luxury holiday resorts.

Set in Ayrshire, the area couldn’t have more internationally recognised names linked to it. Names such as Johnnie Walker, the worlds most popular Scottish Whisky by far in terms of volumes of sales, was established here in 18XX. There are a multitude of Whisky distilleries in the surrounding areas where you can go off to enjoy tours and tasting events. Another global spirits brand Ayrshire is home to is the famous Hendricks Gin.

If Golf is your preferred outdoor pursuit, then Ayshire is home to some of the world’s most famous courses. Take Turnberry for example, not without its notoriety given its ownership status, and then closer to home is one of the most famous courses, the credible Royal Troon, who held the recent 152nd Open Championship welcoming the
world’s most famous professional golfers including Tiger Woods
and Rory McLroy.

If a day at the races is on your calendar of events, held down the road is the Scottish Grand National at Ayr racecourse which takes place each year in September, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to the spectacular event.

And heading into the city of Glasgow has untold places to eat, drink and explore. A former European Capital of Culture, it has hosted the Olympic Commonwealth Games on more than one occasion, it’s shopping is amongst the finest in the UK & Europe, and has no less than three significant sports stadiums in the area as home to the iconic Rangers & Celtic Football Clubs, plus with Hampden Park down the road where the national team of Scotland play their home games, there is plenty to see and do in this beautiful & vibrant city.

It’s Cathedral has recently undergone a stunningly sympathetic renovation and the architecture of Scotland’s highest populated
place is something to be seen.
